District Hosts Multilingual Family Reading Nights
If you have elementary-age children, please join us for Multilingual Family Reading Night! Each month, district staff will read a book in English and in one other language and then lead a constructive conversation. Interpreters will be available. The series is free, and we provide dinner for registered participants. All the sessions begin at 4:30 p.m. at 701 E. Main St., formerly the district’s main office building.
Schedule:
- Spanish -- Wednesday, Feb. 28
- Swahili – Thursday, March 21
- Chinese – Tuesday, April 16
- Arabic – Friday, May 17
- French – Tuesday, June 4
