Two SCAPA Students Place in MLK Contest
Two students from SCAPA at Bluegrass received awards in the MLK Visual Art, Poetry, and Essay Contest sponsored by the Martin Luther King Jr. State Commission.
Eighth grader Emily Francis was runner-up with her painting (above), and seventh grader Jolene Wong took third place in their age division.
The theme for the 2025 statewide contest, which was open to grades 3-12, was “An Unfinished Dream.”
